Ground Transportation for ACAE2019


1. IFPRI SUPPORT


The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) has provided shuttle services from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV), Abuja to the delegates hotels in the city centre. The services will run from 22nd September to 27th September, all round on specified time.


Kindly submit your flight details​ if you want to be considered for airport-hotel pickup. 


The Shuttle services will include two vehicles (a Coaster mini-bus) and a Toyota Prado for VIPs. Information on how you will access the Shuttle services will be provided a week to the event. 2. JUMIA TRAVEL SERVICES

The Local Organising Committee has partnered with Jumia Travel​ to provide end to end logistics. This will include Airport pick up and drop off, intra city transportation, and interstate travel.

 

Jumia has a provision from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV), Abuja pick up, movement within the city, Abuja, and Interstate travel for those interested.

TOURING ABUJA


As part of activities to further enrich your upcoming conference and make it more memorable for the delegates and tourists, we are offering a unique tour of some of the iconic sites and locations in Abuja.


We intend to take you to the following places:

  1. Abuja Arts & Craft Village
  2. National Agricultural Seed Council, Sheda, Abuja
  3. Jabi Lake


ITINERARY

  • The day will begin with a visit to the Abuja Art & Craft Village where tourist will be taken around to see what is on offer.
  • We will then proceed to the National Agricultural Seed Council, Sheda
  • Finally Jabi Lake where the tourist can relax at the lake Front as well as enjoy many intriguing facilities that support various water sports and recreational activities at the Boat Club such as;

           - Jet Skiing

           - Kayaking

           - Canoeing

           - Table Tennis (Ping pong)


  • Lunch pack included

  • Pontoon Boatsride 1hr/person: NGN20,000 or US $60
