African Association of Agricultural Economics
The African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE) is a nonprofit association, serving the professional interests of its members, working in agricultural and broadly related fields of development economics. Our members are professionals working in academic and/or government, and engage in a variety of teaching, research, and outreach activities. Our work addresses a broad range of topics, such as the economics of agriculture, policy, national and international development, resources, environment, food security, and agribusiness. This is aimed at improving the productivity of African agriculture.

Center for Development Research University of Bonn
The Center for Development Research (ZEF) is an institute of the University of Bonn, Germany. It started its research activities in 1997. ZEF's researchers aim to find science-based solutions to development-related issues. ZEF’s research departments on Economic and Technological Change, Political and Cultural Change, and Ecology and Natural Resources Management conduct inter- and trans-disciplinary research in, for and with emerging economies and on global issues with its collaborating research partners around the world. The Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economics (NAAE) is a voluntary, non-governmental and professional association aimed at fostering the growth and development of the agricultural sector. Its scope encompasses the academia, public servants business cycles, private practitioners and the farmers.The association has over 1000 membership cutting across all fields of endeavor. The association was established in 1980 but had the first conference in 1981 at the University of Ibadan.
